Mood Tracker
2019 - I cofounded this App
Product Context:
Mood tracking is a technique for improving mental health where people records their mood at set time intervals to help identify patterns in how their mood varies. It’s a useful method for someone who wants to understand their behavior better. I co-founded, designed, and built an MVP version of the app (available in the App Store and Google Play Store).
The Challenge:
To build a private and secure app that helps you understand how your mood changes and display the results right away in a way that gives instant feedback and embrace vitals.
The Solution:
I decided to adjust the broadly used in mood tracking apps mental model. I simplified it. Users turn the app on, see the overview with some insights, and from there, they can register their daily mood. It’s a more visual approach where users see the insight right away after launching the app.

Snippets from research - I checked some of the most popular in the App Store and made a simple card sorting exercise to discover design patterns. I used them later for alternating the mental model of the app.
